Eligible NSW households may apply to receive either one of the following rebates:
• Eligible Concession Card Holders – Low Income Household Rebate ($385.00) OR
• Self-Funded Retirees – Seniors Energy Rebate ($250.00)
Once you have successfully applied for any of the below rebates, you will automatically receive the $300 Bill Relief payment after September 2024.
• NSW Low Income Household Rebate
• NSW Life Support Rebate
• NSW Medical Energy Rebate
If your rebate is not listed above (eg. Seniors Energy Rebate), you will need to apply for the Bill Relief payment separately. Applications open on the Service NSW website in September 2024.
If you are trying to apply for the Low Income Household Rebate (LIHR) and do not have a printer or are having difficulty applying for this grant online, please visit the staff at your community office and they may be able to print you a hard copy form for your completion. However, please note that the Seniors Energy Rebate (for self-funded retirees) can only be applied for online, as it requires a Service NSW account.
